Complication
Complication A circumstance that complicates something; a difficulty.
One complication in the story would be the creation of Pieces. Upon completion, Frankenstein could no believe what he had just created. It is the complete opposite of what he was hoping for or intended to accomplish. He is enormous and completely ugly. This sets a complication because Frankenstein was excited and eager to see his finished creation however, it turned out differently for him. Another example of complication would be the murder of William. Everyone but Victor believe that it was Justine Moritz who had murdered William, however, Victor knows for a fact that it was his creation, Pieces, that had committed the crime. He tries to convince them that the one who murdered his brother was his creation running lose int he world, however, they do not wish to believe his story. |
